Another year brings another spectacular Stockton International River Festival 2015, this year SIRF was inspired by a story commissioned from Sara Maitland focusing on how Stockton became a festival town and with that Instant Light was born.

The story was presented over four days and was jam-packed with street theatre, circus, dance and music. We were lucky enough to go along to the opening night and what a spectacle it was – bouncing music and jaw-dropping acrobatics. A truly unique and impressive event and one that Stockton and the people of the North East should be proud of.

We would like to thank Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and the Arts Council England for giving us the chance to get involved, we will most definitely see you again next year. Check out our photographs from the night below.
