The Situation

Skandium are the UK’s leading supplier of modern, contemporary Scandinavian lifestyle products for the home, outdoor, soft contract and hospitality industry with four very prestigious stores in the heart of London including; Marylebone; Town House; Thurloe Place & a Republic of Fritz Hansen Concept Store. Not content with their previous year on year growth – we were asked to take over from their previous SEO agency.

The Challenge

With already a multi-million pound online annual turnover – we were challenged with achieving a higher year on year ‘organic’ revenue growth than the previous SEO agency.

Creativity & Implementation

A high-level ‘technical’ SEO audit identified a significant number of ‘critical’ issues with their existing Magento platform that were preventing thousands of pages from being crawled; indexed & ranked as high as they could be. A whole new ‘keyword map’ offered huge opportunities for increasing visibility and organic reach. We have aligned their Magento platform with Google’s algorithms and quality guidelines as best we can and are still optimising the rest of their site against Google’s 200+ known raking factors as well as cleaning up a toxic link profile and acquiring higher quality links.

Results

With the campaign still in its infancy – we’re both delighted with the results our efforts have achieved so far. We started working with Skandium in July 2017 and by the middle of March 2018 we had achieved the following:
